It's been a while since my last post, but I think it was worth waiting for. The last couple of months I was busy working on our Nao robot controller and in the first video you'll going to see the latest version of our tracking system. Now we included not only the upper body parts, but also both legs. So you can control the whole robot by simply moving your body in front of a MS Kinect camera. The developer of Nao, Aldebran Robotics shows big interest in our work. So we were invited to make a testimonial for their website. Here is the final video they put together...

I previously presented some approaches using the WiiMote as an alternative input device. In the following video we used an old glove, some infrared LEDs and a WiiMote for creating a gesture input device. Also we created a QT4 gui where you can add new gestures and start/stop the tracking mechanism. You can download the source code for the GUI in the download area.
